|Emilio d'Curie, Honduras|
ELAW Fellow Emilio d'Curie has arrived!
Emilio is a young scientist who works at the Honduran Environmental Law Institute (IDAMHO for its initials in Spanish). While here, Emilio will build skills to prevent mining abuses and protect the Mesoamerican Reef and the coast of Honduras from short-sighted tourism development schemes. "I want to protect nature and improve the quality of life for the dispossessed," he says.
ELAW is thrilled to welcome Emilio to Eugene. He joins ELAW Fellows Ana Lucia Maya from Colombia and Thuli Makama from Swaziland, who arrived earlier this year.
We look forward to collaborating with Emilio and connecting him with the global ELAW network!
All the best,
ELAW Fellows Program Coordinator
